We created the Creator Network to support and connect with content creators who inspire and inform the Home Assistant community. If you make tutorials, reviews, or smart home showcases, this is your opportunity to get early access to hardware and software insights—all while growing your audience and helping others build a smart home centered on privacy, local control, and sustainability.

What's the Creator Network?

The Creator Network is a group of active content creators who engage with the community by crafting consistent, informational content about Home Assistant.

Members of our Network make tutorials, post unbiased product reviews, or showcase cool projects with the goal of helping people use Home Assistant on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms.

Opportunities

You’ll gain access to products from our partners, have monthly meetings with the Home Assistant team on beta day, get early invitations to events in your area, and be part of a private Discord channel that allows you to ask questions or give feedback directly to the development teams.

Community

You know how to craft amazing content, and we know the community. We work closely with Creator Network members by providing opportunities to support their growing communities and regular meetings with our development teams.

You're always free to share your honest perspectives and constructive feedback about Home Assistant in your content. Creator Network members are also given the chance to offer feedback about the monthly changes directly to the team before it releases.

Will I get paid?

No, not from the Open Home Foundation. However, creators are free to monetize their content independently of the network.

Do I need to pay?

No, there is no membership fee to join this group.

How long does it take to hear back about my application to the Creator Network?

We work hard to get through every application we receive. If you haven't heard back, don't worry! You haven't been missed, we're still working through applications. If you aren't accepted into the program, you will receive an email notifying you — we don’t leave any creators in the dark.
